Fantastic glazing deserves fantastic shading, and the collaboration between Ultra Line and Reynolds has achieved this.
The Ultra line blind box system has been developed in conjunction with Reynolds’ range of electrically operated roller shades. Special location grooves have been extruded into the blind box especially to accommodate our own heavy duty racket systems. This makes the blind sit in the perfect position to exit neatly the blind box, and return to a flush park position when not needed.
The blind is hidden from view in normal operation, but access for installation and maintenance is gained by removing the special, integrated access panel, giving a flush and clean look when the shades are raised.
Our special tube and motor system can support blinds up to 4m wide in one piece, and the blind box system has been tested to accommodate this. The motor system is powered via a 230v supply (needs to be installed at the time of window installation), and can be specified to operate via remote control, app based or integrated into many home management systems.
Our own app system gives the option of automating the shades so they open and close at times set by you – such as 7am in the morning and 7pm at night. Or use the inbuilt intelligent timers that open at sun rise and sun set.
Add one of our sensors to your system and have your shades react to the weather. For example if glare is an issue our sun sensor will drop the shades when the sun shines and retracts them when it doesn’t. Or our room temperature monitor will drop the shades when the room get hot to reduce solar heat gain, or raise the blinds when the room is cold to use solar gain to warm the area.
